Countertop basin
The countertop basin is a more mainstream and traditional basin installation method, the size of the countertop opening is smaller than the size of the washbasin, the basin can be placed directly on the countertop, and then glue is applied to the connection. We can observe the top of the edge of the basin, if it is higher than the countertop, it is the countertop basin.
Taichung basin
The installation method of the table basin can also be called "flat flush", with the edges flush with the countertop. After the countertop is opened, it is also sanded around the perimeter according to the size of the basin, and then the basin is embedded in the countertop, so that the edge of the countertop and basin are always on the same plane. We can observe that the top of the edge of the basin is level with the countertop, without any convex or concave appearance.
Undercounter basin
The undermount basin is the opposite of the over-the-counter basin and can be understood as "inline", and the top of the edge of the basin is lower than the countertop. Undercounter basins can be installed in two ways:
One is to install according to the hole along the inner edge of the sink, which looks more transitional, and the height from the outside to the inside gradually decreases.
One is to install a hole in a slightly smaller position on the outer edge of the sink, which looks more uniform, and the basin seems to be hidden under the countertop.
